About the Role

As a Senior Manager in PIA’s Value Creation & Implementation practice, you will lead the identification and execution of EBITDA growth, operational efficiency, and cash flow optimization initiatives for industrial clients. You will work closely with senior executives, manage complex transformation programs, and drive measurable financial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end value creation initiatives, from opportunity identification to execution.
  • Drive EBITDA improvement strategies, including cost reduction, pricing optimization, working capital enhancement, and procurement efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational transformation plans, ensuring sustainable efficiency gains.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and scenario modeling to assess impact and drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with client leadership and frontline teams to de-risk execution and ensure ownership of transformation levers.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring structured execution, clear communication, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts, including client pitches and proposal development.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12 years of experience in consulting, private equity value creation, or operational transformation (industrial sector focus preferred).
✔ Proven track record in driving EBITDA growth and cash flow optimization through hands-on execution.
✔ Strong financial modeling, operational analysis, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to engage with C-level executives and operational leaders to drive impact.
✔ Experience in procurement optimization, footprint rationalization, restructuring, or working capital management is a plus.
Fluent in English and French (Arabic is a plus).

About the Role

As a Senior Associate in PIA’s Strategy & Advisory practice, you will work with industrial clients to solve critical business challenges. You will lead workstreams, analyze complex business issues, and develop actionable strategies to improve performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and problem-solving across strategy, cost optimization, procurement, and market positioning.
  • Develop fact-based recommendations based on financial modeling, industry benchmarking, and operational insights.
  • Manage project workstreams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and clear client communication.
  • Conduct due diligence, feasibility assessments, and competitive analysis to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage directly with client leadership to drive impact.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting or industrial advisory (top consulting firm or relevant industry experience preferred).
✔ Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Experience with procurement, footprint optimization, cost transformation, and capital allocation is a plus.
✔ Ability to lead workstreams independently and communicate complex insights clearly.
Fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Who You'll Work With
At Partners In Action (PIA), you'll primarily collaborate with industrial companies to address their most pressing operational and strategic issues. Working alongside a diverse group of experts, you'll help create actionable solutions that lead to real, measurable outcomes.

Your Impact at PIA
As part of a small team of 1-3 consultants, you'll focus on identifying the key levers to solve everyday new industrial challenges along with our clients. You will intervene in topics including but not limited to re-designing operating models, analyzing P&L and driving performance improvements that translate directly into measurable results.

Your role might involve analyzing cost structures, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that the changes you implement reflect positively in the P&L.

You’ll gather and analyze data, test hypotheses, and craft actionable recommendations. You’ll then work closely with client teams to implement those solutions on the ground, driving tangible impact and presenting results to senior management. Some projects may require travel to client sites.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interest in industrial sectors, with a solid understanding of P&L levers and how to drive performance improvements that show up in financial results
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing situations
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using quantitative methods to solve complex problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and in English (Arabic is a plus).
